Loyal sims can't become pregnant from alien abduction?

I want my sim to become alien pregnant but when he gets abducted he gets the "following the code" confident moodlet, saying he's being loyal to his close ones. (It could make sense if he don't want to be unfaithful by woohooing with an alien)

All other times I have wanted to make sims alien pregnant it has worked after around the fifth abduction, but this particular sim I have tried for 10+ times without it working.

He got the loyal trait as one of the extra traits from that feature added with growing together. I tried removing the trait with traits.remove cheat but it didn't work. I got it to disappear from his profile by randomizing his traits with cas.fulleditmode, but the following the code moodlet still shows up.

Edit: I found out how to remove the trait, I wrote the cheat wrong as it was supposed to be "trait_loyal" and not just "loyal". I removed the trait when my sim was just being abducted and then saved. The moodlet stopped appearing but he still didn't get pregnant. In the end I gave up and used mccc to make chance of pregnancy 100% and then he got pregnant. I'm not sure if the loyal trait did cause him not to get pregnant to begin with or if he was just out of luck.

The alien pregnancy thing has been heavily nerfed years ago. At first alien abductions were more common and male sims almost always got pregnant, but now the pregnancy is rare.

I don't think the Loyal trait has anything to do with that.

Edit. Looking into tuning files, the base chance of getting pregnant is 25. The only things that make it impossible is being female and being a ghost. Plus it helps towards Adrenaline Seeker lifestyle and can trigger the Fear of Dark.

Also, isn’t there something in CAS or gameplay or somewhere in the game that asks you if you want males to be able to get pregnant? Could that affect the outcome of an alien pregnancy?

According to tuning files, no. Only the male and female choice affects it.

I would hope that loyalty would have nothing to do with it, as I never imagined the alien pregnancy as involving woohoo in the first place. I always saw it as the result of experimentation from a process that was more, well...alien. That we weren't supposed to know how it happened because it wasn't supposed to be possible. My theory has been something more bee and plantlike, due to the use of the word "pollination".

I don't have too many aliens in my game, but I like to set it up so that only the females can "pollinate" human males (impregnate) but it doesn't work any other way. So children have to be born from male Sims and female "fathers". Something about that just makes me happy.

My suggestion is to make sure to have the "get pregnant" on in CAS if you want your male sim to get pregnant by Alien Abduction. ;)

That would allow him to get pregnant via woohoo.

It won't change anything. It would only allow the sim to try for baby with sims who can make others pregnant and become pregnant from that.

Only the set gender binary matters.

I just thought it was strange since it's never been that hard before. Some years ago I got a guy pregnant just after the second alien abduction, and last summer after the fifth. My only explaination for this was either the loyal trait or that the chance might had been lowered even more in a recent patch.
25% isn't that low I just think it should have worked in any of the 20+ tries I did. I saved the game just when he was about to be abducted and replayed from there each time it didn't work, and that's the same thing I've done previously when it did work.

Really? Well it worked great for my Sims 4. However, I only play vanilla on my PC. ;)

I don't use mods like mccc normally. I just used it to make chance of pregnancy 100% and then removed it again.
