My maid won't clean more than one thing. He then stands on the porch, and waves at the mailbox. I have tried replacing said mailbox, resetting the maid, and taking him to a community lot. He just comes back to do the same thing. Anyone else having this issue? I don't want to move the family. But, if that is what will work, or not have a maid at all, I will make it happen. Thanks.

I haven't experienced that, but I did have a sim using the dishwasher to calm down instead of using the mirror. :p

Try the "Call over" or "Fire service" option from the interaction menu. That might help.

I would have a tendency to create my own Live-in Maid so I could control him or her. Sounds like your guy has gone off the hooks, fallen off his rocker. Something is amiss. Have you tried taking the family to another lot, like the park or something and then have them return?

I actually canceled the maid service, had my adult Sim travel with him, and leave him at the other lot lol I now have a butler.

I had one that was doing that but he wasn't really waving at the mailbox, it just looked like it. I had forgotten to unlock the gate.
