How do I do this?? Can I change a sim from a premed house house (not yet placed) into a mermaid? How do I switch them into the mermaid Occult? Also, how do I turn off mermaids from the rest of t...

I guess my confusion is that I don’t play with occult’s. I don’t play or have vampires. I don’t even really want mermaids other than this one.
Before I purchased the island XP i created a family in CAS that I wanted to use in Sulani. I was hoping I could just make one of those sims a mermaid. My mother aim to be exact. So all of her genetics are pulled through the rest of the family. Having to make her from scratch would ruin make it impossible to maintain her genetics. So annoying. (I’ve never done this before)

You can get mermadic kelp in the reward store for 500 aspiration points. Just cheat the points and get the kelp.
