I have noticed a similar glitch in the lawyer branch of the career where when you are supposed to offer legal representation and get new clients as your daily task. It will eventually say 'just started' but it never seems to progress beyond there. I have not once been able to complete the task. I don't know how many clients they think my lawyer sim needs, but it appears to be an excessive amount!
