Mannequins no longer counting as sims?

I don't think it ever affected the sim count.

From what I read back then, the clothing feature required them to be seen as sims, technically. But nothing could be better than this being wrong - I never used them because I thought they did count, so now I will put them *everywhere* - muha :)

From the code, mannequins are sims whose AI has been removed. Because of this, only 10 mannequins are allowed on the lot.
Mannequins do not count towards sims limit. If I understand it correctly, mannequins are part of the hidden household like Grim Reaper and dead sims are and cannot be added to My Households section. The only purpose for mannequin sims is to wear clothes that has been assigned on the lot.
