Marketplace goods/ready grilled cheese in Jungle Adventure?

I must be completely missing something because I can't find any place to buy non perishable food for my Sims (one has a whim to buy a ready to eat grilled cheese too and I can't find it anywhere). ...

Yes, that. The credit only counts if you buy the items sitting on the table at the marketplace.
