The meaning of that word could also mean someone you're involved with...in the same household or attached to as in a relationship. The computer would know that meaning and say it nicely. lol
you could check to see if the sim they wish to marry has a romantic relationship with another person in the household as well. or a close relative
like she may also like his brother romanticly. and they live in the home... so just move out the home both should.
I had this once only. I did not know she was also in love with his brother in the same home. they dated before, and I had forgotten.
