If we would get simple weather in a patch and a pack dedicated to seasons that would be nice. The sun is starting to annoy me not to mention I love rain and thunder so that would be really nice to have.
We got hints all hear about pets so i'm sure they'll leave hints again, it's what they like to do and I like getting them, makes me excited about the next pack.
Oh I surely hope we'll get Seasons soon. I don't really like the idea of them patching in ''rain'' and leaving the rest out though.
I mean, to me it wouldn't make sense. When they are going to make a Seasons Pack, they would want to use every Season (including its weather effects) as ''features'' to sell the pack.
I don't know if we'll even get the other weather types (Snow, hail etc) when they patch in rain. That's why I'd love to have a full on Seasons EP/GP featuring every Season and every weather type.
Like I said earlier; to me Weather is more than just rain.
I don't want them to ''give'' us rain and be done with it. Even though we never know that's what happens, but everything is possible with TS4. ''Here you have rain, stop complaining about Seasons. Done''.
I see it like this:
If they patch in *only* rain and cloudiness (which is most likely in the case of a weather patch), they would be giving us the *most basic* types of weather - sunny and rainy - to finally satisfy those who have been complaining about weather not being in the base game. Then they would make a full-blown Seasons EP with all the seasons, extra weather like storms/snow/hail/fog etc and gameplay to sell it. Patching in rain wouldn't make people not buy Seasons - on the contrary, I think patching in rain would wet (hehe) our appetite for more. It would be both a wonderful for us and smart promoting move for them.
