Maxis going in wrong direction with expansion pack gameplay?

At first I was really excited for Snowy Escape mostly because of the setting/I grew up in Fernie, BC basically a ski resort town. Plus I love anime so it just works for me until I realized what lost ...

i have to say no the packs are fine i just feel as a player that ea maxi should focus on content players have been requesting for years like

1 cars

2 more choices in appliances retro modern stove fridge dishwashers top load washers with matching dryer and modern top load washers with matching dryers front load retro and modern included

3 furnitures

4 more toggles to have more control in game depending on what you plan for your sims
