- alanmichael1Seasoned HotshotI found it interesting that they said TS4 was the best-selling iteration.
- I had already settled myself to the fact that there probably won't be anything till June. Thanks for letting us know cuz honestly now I don't have to watch it.

I find it interesting they continue to ride that statement as if it’s supposed to do something for anyone.
Congratulations. You discounted your latest barebones, bug-filled iteration enough for anyone to easily grab it for five bucks or less. ??
Hope all that money is being returned into development of a proper sequel.
I agree. Although I have zero expectations for the sims 5. "alanmichael1;c-17057896" wrote:

So I heard on Twitter I got mentioned. I ll have to watch the replay since I'm not at home now.
Yes, Simguru Duke (?) spoke about an idea that you posted him.
I missed the beginning - did they show the new community manager? Can he be seen anywhere?
No He was not there - he posted on twitter that he missed it - he was home sick and apologized.
https://twitter.com/SimGuruFrost/status/1126172566949810176- paigeisin5New SpectatorGotta give them an A for effort, I suppose. Guru Garage and Maxis Monthly are simply time-fillers. While I appreciate the fact they want us to feel they are 'engaging' with us, these live streams are a bit worthless as far as receiving any real news. For those of us who have been with the franchise for years, we are very familiar with Sim Gurus Lyndsay and Duke. Their faces and contributions to the franchise are well known. It is always nice to see a familiar face, but not when the fans are waiting for news about what is going to be a very important month for Sims4. I have grown weary of searching for news on Sims4 on tech sites and forums that are not associated with EA. I get more info from those sites than I do from EA's attempts to distract us with weekly and monthly live streams that just tick me off because they are so 'meh'. Forgive me if I sound a bit jaded, or unappreciative of the effort it takes to do a live stream of any kind. But, holy cow, we have been waiting a full month for info on what we can expect in June, and EA has cut the news feed off yet again. SimGuruGraham gave us some great news on April 9th that really took me by surprise. Three new packs in 6 months? Great! Oh wait, what was that clicking sound I just heard? Oh, yeah, it was the sound of EA going into lockdown mode again. Sigh.

I still think an expansion is coming out in Late June and an announcement this month. - paigeisin5New Spectator@catloverplayer I don't disagree with that at all. I believe we will see an expansion in the latter part of June as well. But there is a lot more than that happening in June. I'm upset because EA has pulled another lockdown on releasing more info on everything they are planning to do, and how that might affect the release of future packs that are in the works. They recently upgraded the Gallery, Origin was down for almost a full day last weekend, and it looks as if we won't be getting an update until later this month if they decide to release one in May. I have many questions and concerns that I cannot find the answers to. Call me paranoid if you wish, but I have a feeling the update/pre-expansion patch in June will be a large one. Probably the largest we have seen since toddlers were released. How it might affect our mods, CC and saved games is high on my list of concerns even though I am looking forward to knowing what the next expansion is all about.

Personally I think we're gonna get a stuff pack in June, probably that horrifying designer that we got that ugly sweatshirt from (sorry to people who like that dude, just not my cuppa). Then I think we'll get a game pack in September and the expansion pack in November. I don't think we'll get an announcement until June at the thingy. "Lizzychicago;c-17061315" wrote:

Graham announced 1 ep, 1 gp and 1 sp in the months until October, so there will be a bit more."Paigeisin5;c-17061330" wrote:

I'm still hoping the gallery will get the option to let us see inside buildings/houses. Grant said last year he knew people wanted that and then he said winkie face followed by that's all I'll say on that. What changes did this upgrade to the gallery bring? I thought they were just doing maintence.
That would be truly awesome. The screenshots that are automatically assigned to lots shown on the gallery are horrible. Many times there are trees blocking the view of the inside of the lots so we are unable to see exactly what that lot looks like unless we place it in the game. Yeah, I think it was just maintenance done to the gallery. I read a re-posted tweet from one of the gurus that stated they were going to change some options on the gallery that would go live in June. Again with the 'it'll happen in June' thing we've been hearing for a month. I tried to find it this evening so I could post it for you to read, but I can't remember where it was. I apologize for the confusion.
What they should be fixing on the gallery are the filters, they have never worked. You can untick a pack and still see all the lots built with a pack you don't have. This is going to be a big fat mess (even more so) once those 32bit players can't find anything for their game because they can't even buy newer packs. And ads in the game, think of how those who get that 32bit final upgrade will continue to see packs they can't order. The gallery and the game is going to need a lot of time to be overhauled for those type players.
