Maybe the "new Sims experience" could be optional multiplayer a la Stardew Valley.

I might try it depending on how it's done... read that as free to people that own the game (perhaps someone provides the server at a cost). However, I'd rather have other content to go with my single player sim game. I wouldn't be very disappointed though. There are simmers that would enjoy it.
