Mermaid option for teens in CAS?

You need to click the add a new sim button to create a mermaid.

thats confusing i made my sim already i dont want to have to remake her by adding a new sim

Yes, I actually made the same mistake when I created my first mermaid.?
I also went the kelp route.

I did the same thing, but she was not my first, but rather my third mermaid. I really wished there was a way in CAS that we could change an occult type to whatever or even back to human.

Couldn't agree more. I did almost the same mistake as all of you and when I finished my sim, I found out that there is not select occult button lol. Such an oversight on their behalf.

It's not an oversight, it's just the way they built it. It works the same for CAS vampires and aliens. Still, it's not terribly intuitive.
