I’m still getting it either way, but I must say I was a bit disappointed myself. My idea for the transformation would be this (And please tell me if you like my idea or not c:):
After you eat the kelp to transform you, you can see a few scales appear on your legs in the water. It takes one day the complete the transformation, the closer you get to the full transformation the more scales you get on your legs when you enter water till finally, you have the complete tail when it’s finished. While the transformation is still going, you can slowly see your appetite for regular food going away. You can also see that flirty interactions are succeeding a bit better while this is going on.
Finally, when it’s all complete (aside from getting the tail), you get all the powers, and you get a different moodlet then what’s given. Two moodelts, actually. The first is when the transformation is complete, but you still haven’t got in the water to see the tail. The first moodlet says this, “That kelp did something funny to you. It’s almost like the seas calling you.”
The second moodlet is when you enter the water for the first time after its complete and see your tail. Sims have a shocked expression when they see it, and automatically swim around a lot to test it out. The moodlet says “Woah! Is that a tail? It looks like your a mermaid now! Be sure to always stay hydrated.”
And that’s my idea for the transformation, of course it won’t be actually like this but y’know. Please don’t steal my idea c;
This is actually a pretty good idea, but it's not a mermaid-centered EP. They did a pretty good job in mermaids tho, just not as detailed or fully fleshed-out as vampires.
