Missing Birth Certificate

My Simself has six kids and all six of them were delivered at the hospital. One of the kids has a missing birth certificate. I haven't done any major renovations to the house. I've checked in the family inventory's and personal inventory's but i just cannot find it. Is there a way to get another copy of it? The save it was in is long gone now.
