Missing elements in Cottage Living
No greenhouse tool or something similar for build. For example, full glass walls. No butter churner return from TS1 to make some butter No composting bin, either TS2 Seasons or TS3 Store one ...

There is the ability to make cheese. I think sims make it on the stove. More varieties than just the generic wedge of unnamed cheese would have been nice, though. What I am really missing is the ability to make butter, clotted cream, whipped cream etc. Old-fashioned ice cream would have been nice too, I agree. Sims not being able to spread butter or any of the jams on the existing breads, scones, and pastries already in the game is also disappointing. As someone said in another thread, the jam should be like the icing that came with the baking skill -- able to be spread on everything and just changing its colour.
