Missing Social Interactions?

I’ve been playing the Sims 4 lately, and I keep noticing little tiny things that seem strange to me.
Today, my sim had a whim (the little wishes above head) that said she wanted to “pester” another sim, and it said the interaction was from the “Funny” pie menu section, but the option was not there.
Also, my sim has a boyfriend, and he shows up often with a dialogue at the top right corner saying something along the lines...that he can help my sim with exercise. Like a “pump” in other sims games. But, all that happens is he exercises on the treadmill, and he doesn’t do anything for my sim in that way.
When I click on my sim’s boyfriend while he is on the treadmill, I have an option to “discourage” (I assume it is exercise), but I can’t “encourage”, which I find is strange because my sim isn’t a mean sim.
Anyone with similar issues? It seems like I’m missing interactions. Maybe I’m not? I use custom content hair, skin details, some makeup, and clothing, as well as furniture. I don’t use any mods though.
