I have been working on making a full household for Moana, based on the movie. Including Maui. It's alot of work. I found versions of Moana and Maui that a few people put in the gallery. (Well done) I have tweaked the ones I liked the most slightly, but wanted to add her parents and her crazy awesome grandmother!From left to right in this first image it's Moana, her mother Tala, grandmother Sina, Maui, and her father Tui.https://i.imgur.com/0fkfNnq.pngThe last-name was supposed to be Waialiki, (though in typical Disney style for a 'princess', Moana had no last-name in the final script of the movie) But I put it in anyways for her family name. Maui is spell caster occult, the rest human.So far they have no skills, and just basic traits. I was planning to release them as permanent NPC's in my game. But if I'm careful to keep the pack usage to a minimum, and of course no CC, I'd love to upload them to the galley!I need to give them all skills that fit. Also any traits. I'm currently not happy with the look of Tui yet. You should continue. The characters look very good and are recognizable, even though I haven’t seen the movie, just the characters.

Follow your goal to the finish! I'm sure you know, it's a wonderful feeling when you complete something of your own. Sure, the journey can be tough at times, but it's all worth it. Think about what it will be like to finally play them and share them with others ?

I have cut down the packs to these. I've also improved all the character's looks and am satisfied with it now. Can't do any better without using CC hair or tattoos, but it's good! :)

I'm not sure where the laundry stuff is or the spa stuff, or even the jungle stuff. Must be little things like an earring or socks or underwear or something.

Real of Magic is for Maui only. Get to Work is probably for traits or maybe a few items of clothing. Seasons is just clothing and maybe a few traits also. But Island Living is most important!

Whew! Now unto figuring out skills. After watching some clips, I have a good idea.

Looks great all around btw--not sure on skills...gardening and fishing seems like they could be good for any of them. And maybe having the grandma have a high wellness skill, cause I find that idea amusing lol. There's not really a separate sailing skill...idk.

I've also not seen the movie, but I like your family, and hope to find them on the gallery :)

One thing I've noticed, and posted about on the AHQ, is that "Packs used" is often not correct. I've clicked to show what items have been used from each pack, but it comes up blank or shows items I never used. Even when I've filtered everything to basegame only, and remove everything from the sim before adding clothes etc.

Just in case you don't know: click the pack icons, and to the right is "Show items used" or something. Its easier to check when you know what to look for :)

Yes. I noticed that awhile ago and feel ashamed. :p I'm not going to edit my earlier posts. I made a mistake. Good catch. :)
The 'crazy' Grandma Tala reminds me a bit of my grandmother before she passed away. As Crystal Henry said in her article I found:

The crazy grandma actually has to be my favorite character in the movie, because she's a strong woman with a great sense of humor. When she comes across Moana after her failed attempt to get beyond the reef, Moana is worried her grandmother is going to tell her father about what she's done. Tala replies with a smile, "I'm his mom, I don't have to tell him anything."

@Kathykins That is extremely handy! Took me a minute, but I figured it out. For the "Laundry" pack, it's just one pair of boots.

Its a really good feature, I just wish I could check before uploading, though. I some times build or make sims with only basegame, maybe one more pack, and I often forget to set the filters right. In Build/Buy, the filters stay, but not in CAS unless you change it in every single category. With 8 different outfits, it gets tedious :D

Grandma Tala sounds like quite the character! Thinking I have to watch the movie sometimes soon :)
