Mods make the games better. Didn’t use very many in Sims 2 or 3, but with 4 I have a ton of mods because it’s just a pain to play without them.
I wouldn't play any game that causes me pain! :D Why do you do it?- I've never once dabbled in mods, though I've been tempted once or twice. I just cant imagine changing anything in the game >o<
- I play vanilla because I like the game as it is, because I've had my share of mods in old iterations. Of course, I could do without the bugs I've encountered, but I have good hopes that the devs team will succeed in repairing these.
There are some "things" that become tiresome, but again I try to overcome the difficulties using my comprehension of the game and find the solutions right inside the game, using every little bits that are given. - I like my game simple. I don't even use mcc. Because I control my own sims and the townies i can just edit more family members/kids to their household manually as the game goes further.
Very few mods are anything I need. - To risky for me personally, and honestly I'm to lazy keep updating them/reinstalling them with every new patch :|

some little mods from littlemssam, like to change Sims into their everyday where when they come inside from the snow
Same. I don’t know how people don’t look to mods to fix nonsense like sims leaving their winter clothing on inside. As soon as I installed Seasons and saw that happen I closed the game and went mod hunting.- Never used mods in ts2 or ts3, but they're necessary for 4. Most of my mods fix annoying autonomous things and speed up the time to do things like eating and showering. I also use the 3-column cas mod and of course mccc/ui cheats extension.
- I don’t use mods but I have previously considered it for piercings and band shirts.

Because it's literally not that hard to click "change outfit"? I don't need mods for every single little thing. - icemanfresh7 years agoLegendNothing that heavily affects gameplay, but mostly fixes, added features (like kids being able to walk dogs), storytelling aids like pose player, and maintenance stuff like MCCC.
