- Mods make my game better especially MCC with all the control it gives to player, and sometime I'd like to play as brooding vampire but I can't stand my sims with their constant smiling (my avatar aside) as if they are inhaling n2o it totally killed the immersion and mod able to tone down their smiling obsession.
- I feel like there needs to be an option for, "No mods--I am absolutely paranoid about destroying my game when I try to install them." ^_^;;
- Neither. I don't like relying on mods that can break after each patch... but I definitely don't love the game the way it is either.
- I play no mods for my challenges and mods for my main family. The mods I use are MCCC and Foster home. I really like the game with and without mods
- SheriSim7 years agoSeasoned AceI don’t use mods because I am not real computer literate. And don’t know how to put them in and take them out ( same with custom content). And I just don’t really want to learn at my age. Besides right now when there is a bug, I don’t Have to worry that it might be a mod.
- Running 30 or so mods, funny enough my game is much more stable, bug-free and less annoying than vanilla. Mods since 2001.
- simsimsere7 years agoSeasoned AceI'm not against mods, just too lazy to update and like to play the game vanilla :p
- logionX7 years agoSeasoned AcePretty much 80% of all my mods are mods that I have to fix bugs or make the game more enjoyable to play. Thank god for mc tuner for example where I can disable autonomous things like sim practicing singing in the middle of a conversation.

That's the funny part. I'm pretty computer literate. And I worry about doing it wrong anyways.
You do make a good point about knowing that bugs are never caused by mods. Though a lot of them fix bugs as well, so I suppose it goes both ways.- I’ve played with them since sims 2. It helps make the game feel limitless to me. I hate restrictions.I have some I haven’t even used yet but I just like knowing I have the option.
