Mods that fix issues in the game?

Lots of mod makers and builders there. :)

LittleMsSam has a quite a few useful mod fixes on her site. She even bundled them all up into one file.

I’m not convinced Simulation Lag Fix does anything. I’ve tested it thoroughly and I think it’s a placebo.

the lag fix does something.. it's SIGNIFICANTLY noticeable on lower end systems like mine

Lemme add in FasterFoodAndDrink by magneticsouth. It's the most updated one out there... it tunes down the "passive" times when Sims are eating but they still take time if they are chatting with somebody while eating of course. If they're only focused on eating, they'll be finished in no time. Doesn't damage the vanilla-ness of the game, if that's the concern

MC Command Center is honestly one of the best mods out there for getting rid of all those silly autonomous actions our Sims do. You can turn off a bunch of different annoyances they do, life using the computer/tv/cellphone at random and no more staring at useless objects either.

A must have mod that I used to installi is the no greeting Sims, it annoyed me when they were eating or reading they always get disturbed by another family member because they wanted to talk and made my Sims stopped what they were doing to stand up and hug the person as a "greetings"

If you guys knew what it does, you know when it works and when it stops working. :) I knew about it somewhere at Sims Asylum from a creator named Coolspear who resigned just recently. He created a powerful alternative to the lag fix (which is now outdated) and explained what actually happens and what the fixes do. It's pretty lengthy but yeah I think you should check it out

Two mods I find extremely useful are MCCC (as previously mentioned), and Walk Normal by Scarlet's Mods. It disables the annoying pee and pregnancy walks, as well as a few other ones. It's much better to jog to the bathroom than to practically crawl :D
