Mods to change weather?

I generally use mccc. It has an option to change the weather when you click on the mailbox.

What I usually do is go into build mode and buy the weather machine wherever I am and have a sim with high hardiness skill change it then delete the weather machine. But yea MCCC is probably faster ?

I do use Mc mod however when I am visiting other worlds it's usually for days out with the kids to community lots so I would not be visiting lots that had a mailbox so am wondering if there is another way to do it with Mc?

I used to do it that way until I got fed up with that machine on small lots plus I am not sure I could place that machine on outdoor community lots I will have to check :)

Wow, I use MCCC but I didn't know this tidbit. Thank you! Many a time my singer goes to another neighborhood to perform, only to find himself at the chosen venue to find it raining. Normally speaking it's the outdoor venue I choose, based on the heat in his own neighborhood of Brindleton Bay. My bad. Does it work on the mailbox on the lot, by chance?

MCCC has cheats to bring up the menus without the need to click something.
The one for the mailbox is mc_cheats
Not sure if this will work on a community lot where there is no mailbox but worth a try.

The mailbox on the lot. I have even added a mailbox to community lots on occasion to use the cheat.

Thanks for that extra info now I also read that Atreya33 used to be able to add mailboxes to her community lots i will try that as it would make things so much easier :)

You can be certain I'll make a point of adding mailboxes all over the place. LOL
