Moodlets from Laundry Day?

Has anyone else had moodlets from this pack? My sims keep feeling playful, very playful, & hysterical from wearing warm clean laundry. This is frustrating because I've already had 3 sims die from being hysterical from this pack. Why do the sims feel playful from wearing laundry?

  • I've been having more hysterical sims in the past month than before but they aren't ones with laundry in their households. They just are having so many good moodlets stacking that if they tell more than a few jokes (or do other playful things) it sends them over pretty fast. No unplanned deaths yet but I only play with a few sims at a time so I've been able to calm them down. I hadn't really though about it much but I am changing the way I play my sims because of it especially if they live in good surroundings.
  • I've had 2 sims die from hysterical moodlets all thanks to laundry day. Twice I had to close without saving. I hate when your main family you don't want to kill dies from Laundry moodlets..... I really thought it my sim was going to die it would be by fire from doing too much laundry and not cleaning out the lint tray. I've never seen Moodlets stack insanely like they do now.

I only got the pack yesterday and instantly noticed my household was full of Very Playful sims after doing their first load of laundry. The problem is made worse by all the happy buffs they have. My sims don't usually get playful, they don't have traits that cause it or have objects around them with that emotional aura (if I want them to be playful, they just take a bubble bath - simple). I'm going to have to keep a close eye on them, or reconsider whether I even want them doing laundry if it's going to cause this.
  • I think this happens if you use the clothesline to dry your laundry. If you hover over the option to put the clothesline laundry away, it usually says "dry & warm". And when you look at the cause of the playful moodlets, it's from "warm laundry". When I take out the laundry from the dryer, it's usually just "dry".

I also notice that the laundry moodlets sometimes override the "asleep" moodlet, making it appear that your Sim is awake when in reality they're sleeping.
  • Yeah my Sim got hysterical after a load of laundry & luckily I got her to the mirror to calm her down before she died. I like that there are different types of moodlets that you can get from laundry, each time they change clothes, but I don't understand how laundry can make you playful.
  • Mine seem broken. Half the time I don't even get a moodlet after running a load (and I use flowers too).
  • There are a bunch of new moodlets that you can get from doing laundry (table on my website with them). I think the stuff pack added something like 14 or so new ones, including from doing the washing and watching it (dazed etc).
