More options for disabilaty

As you know I have neurogical disabilaties.Specifically autisim and adhd.

I was thinking about other things we can have in the game. That can have the option to represent people with neurogical disabilaties.

Like necklaces that have pop ems acceserise.
Or add Sensory objects to use in the game like pop ems, fidget toys .

Not full traits, but maybe like a side trait. That can emulate symptoms.Like maybe a side trait senstivity. With this sims can not like loud music or certain textures can bother them . Or absent trait that tends to make sims distracted and makes a bit harder for focuse.

Those are my ideas.

I really wish they include muteness in the game, something like:

    • Mute voice option
    • Medical wearable that allows a robotic voice
    • American Sign Language animations during any conversation.

There is already a lot we can do in-game, actually. We can let them Sims dislike any kind of physical contact, there is the Loner trait, and the socially awkward one as well, and an unflirty trait.
But yes, a dislike for busy and loud places (when too much people are talking, added by loud music... just too much noise sources) and sensitivity would be nice, even though I might not use that in-game, because I have these problems in real life.

This is my personal oppinion I don't think the Loner trait is good for disabialty repetsentation.

As for the social akward trait I see it's good for anxiety.

I feel like a mini trait system or a small system would be good.Because are symptoms are not just personalities .
  • I will remain neutral in this subject but i will say this i think players are intitle to features they went in game and on the subject i do agree with @Horrorgirl6 since i have been diagnose a few years back with light autisim syndrom

Speaking as a person with dyspraxia (and possibly also ADHD), I think this is a good idea but there is a problem in that if you assigned the traits that we already have that could work as a representation of neuro-diversity, you would also have fewer slots for other traits. It's an unfortunate flaw of the system. Incidentally, the same is true of the diet traits i.e. vegetarian or lactose intolerant.

Oh that's why I suggested another trait system.Like a way to assign mini traits ,with the trait system. Thry already add likes and dislikes, and Growing Together other relationships.I think adding a trait or a new system really could be possible.

Thinking about vegaterrian, loctus intolerant should be added to that system.

I use mods, so if that is an option for you, adeepindigo creates lots of mods and one of them is a mod that deals with neurodivergence.
