Anyone else think that Oasis Springs and Newcrest are pretty beautiful and underrated? I live in both worlds currently and they are just so nice to look at and have hidden gems.
Also I think that Sulani is a beautiful world and one of my top, but a bit overrated. I prefer Brindleton Bay and Windenberg. Beaches of Sulani are beautiful but the mountains of Windenberg are breathtaking. And BB has beautiful view to the sea and beaches.
Underrated: Strangerville. The world is actually really nice and I love the Texas/Arizona look of it Overrated: Windenburg. It just doesn't interest me. It's my least used world out of all of them as I don't care for the cold/dreary climate, I have enough of that in real life I definitely don't want it in the Sims.
Strangerville is definitely underrated, my only issue with it is the lack of lots, some more cheap ones would have been amazing.
I also don’t like Bridelton Bay. It’s too rainy and I couldn’t get into pet gameplay at all.
It feels weird to judge Magnolia Promenade as a world since I think it was originally supposed to be part of Willow Creek, like the hospital/police station area. And I think the science lab is part of Oasis Springs. Didn’t they say they wanted to expand Willow Creek but they also didn’t want to break old saves?
people trash it cause it only got 5 lots and only activities is fishing and chess
but there is vlad statue in the center looking absolutely gorgeous and the roads are in shape of coffin and the vibes are so good so iconic
like if you, like me are type of person who has once walked roads of peaceful dark village illuminated only by some street lights you will know its a whole vibe one can not live without
also granite falls is super useful if only i could choose what theme i want there cause i can do whatever i want
other than that though my opinions are quite in line with popular opinion i think
Underrated: Magnolia Promenade. But bulldoze the lots though and build or download some apartment or townhome builds, load them up with sims to give your playable sims some neighbors and you can have an awesome neighborhood to play in. Or smoggy, dystopian wreckage were survivors are trying to eke out a living if you have Eco Lifestyles installed.
Selvadorada, Granite Falls and Strangerville are really pretty worlds but massively underrated. Whenever there's a favourite world poll (they show up every few months ;) ) I always choose Selvadorada. Granite Falls is really nice, and easily improved by exchanging some rental lots with community lots. Strangerville just has an amazing atmosphere, especially during the "stormy" period, but also after the mystery is solved.
Yeah I'm definitely concurring the idea of Strangerville being underrated. I love desert places and the secenry around there is gorgeous and it gives off the tiny town vibe, which is very similar to what I grew up around.
Fun how some people are like "Man, this is what I grew up in, how boring" while tiny town rep is sorta rare and I appricate any good rep I see of it.
I think Windenburg is kind of over rated, just because it's the biggest doesn't make it the best world in my opinion. I think it's beautiful, but also kind of basic comparing it to some newer worlds.
