Move the Cakes, Pies, & Cookies to Baking

It is weird that they aren't under baking. Makes no sense whatsoever.

Agreed Make Baking baked into the base game, and have the EP one be an expansion of it.

Also, make baking fun. At the very least, make it fun for Foodie Sims.

The baking skill comes from Get To Work so although it makes sense to me too... they would have to "give" that skill away to people that didn't buy that expansion in order to do that. I'd be fine with that personally but I doubt everyone would be. People have to be able to "cook" cakes at least to age up sims.

Even if cakes aren't moved to Baking and Baking made a base game skill (Really, I find baking to be one of the more ho-hum additions with GTW, since it doesn't really impact my gameplay...), I would at least like to see cakes come up under Baking if you have GTW installed. Maybe with some kind of quality boost or special moodlet after eating a slice if it's made by Baking instead of Cooking. There, now everyone's OCD can be satisfied (including mine).

I'd rather they not keep taking more and more things from packs and putting them into the BG. If anything, they should just make a small edit where if you own GTW, those foods will be listed under baking.

It isn't necessary to take something from a pack and give it to people for free. All they had to do is tag the items added as baked so they would be added to the correct category. Just like plants are always marked as plants and earrings are always marked accessories regardless of what pack they came in.

It's not rocket science, they just didn't bother.

This pretty much what I was driving at. I felt that it should have been an edit so that all the baked could have been together. The way they have it now you have to scroll through both to find something specific and that is just a time waste. I couldn't remember if baking was a base game skill or if it came with a pack but as it is. I don't see why they just didn't move the items with that pack. Kinda lazy in my opinion.

Agreed! I often click "bake" by mistake when I want my sim to bake a cake.
