I agree with all the points made! Especially the time it takes for the Sims to get around campus. What frustrates me a lot is that there isn't a more versatile graduation ceremony, considering it's a pretty big memory of graduates all over the world, right? I know I remember mine fondly and wouldn't want to skip or forget it.
And, yes, the new skills are pretty much useless, at least on the grand scheme of things. Not that I didn't enjoy playing them, but they feel a bit repetitive without adding too much depth on the existing features of The Sims 4. One or two debates captured my interest and then I didn't have the motivation to keep repeating the same animations over and over again.
On a more positive note, I enjoy the different degrees and the pieces of background stories they give to our beloved Sims. They are a powerful shot of realism that was needed in our games, whether we love supernatural elements or not. A few more aspirations and traits would be nice, so thank goodness there are some mods for them. ;)
