My Collab. CAS ‘Game’ Now Needing Name and Trait Suggestions.

Feel free to borrow and make your own version. Alternately, when they are finished, I will upload to the gallery (mostly for safekeeping rather than to share, but still..)

Fired up CAS to get started. A couple of clicks on the Randomise button and this is what I got.

They look good! The little girl is especially cute.

They're great! I think the teen could use a little lengthening adjustment to her jaw/chin area. The game tends to always cut off Sims around that part of the face and if the Sim begets children one day, they can end up weirdly mutated. But overall, I think they're great. :)

Cheers @LiELF. Especially for that constructive feedback. These are just raw, randomised beginnings as you can see. Too often I just find a random Sim that I like the look of and haven’t a clue where to begin tweaking them to make them even better. I totally see what you mean about the round/nearly-absent jawline. Will give that a small pull in the old CAS when I have had some dinner.

Okay. Trying to decide:
-What season to start in so that I can plan outfits accordingly
-Is Grandpa a snazzy dresser or a sloppy joe?
-Will CAS let me make it a ‘Grandfather’, or can we settle for ‘Father’ in Elder stage
-See seperate post about sharing lots of pictures via Imgur
-Are ‘cover’ ethnicities important if they’re from Sixam (excepting the toddler)

Start in the spring. You have some time to set everything up before summer, which is a fun season and great for screenshots.

I am not truly expecting answers from the community on all of these, but think this might be interesting to a few as it shows the ‘results’ of the forum game/collaboration.
Here are some thoughts as I prepare to go to sleep. Will finish dressing the Sims tomorrow.
Will also share pictures and will need some help with naming.



Here are other thoughts about backstory/game setup:

Three Sims, two Aliens, one ‘elderly’ male and one ‘teenaged’ female. Likely blood/biologically related. One human female toddler, fostered/adopted.

Living in San Myshuno.
Male alien is a veterinarian. Presumably has a clinic locally. Presumably is interested in researching the health and wellbeing of terrestrial animals.

Female alien is submersing in the population as a teenager. Attends school. Fascinated by life on earth. City dweller aspiration to begin.

Toddler is an orphan. Selected from care by the aliens at this young age?



What happened to the toddlers parents?

Is the male alien a grandfather or father to the female?
What about the story they tell along with their disguises? Maybe he is really her biological father but looks more in age to be the grandfather, so that story goes down better with the humans? It would conveniently explain gaps or inconsistencies in his supposed knowledge of the females past.

Did the aliens crash (and are currently stranded) or have they come down for the purposes of scientific study?

How much knowledge do they possess at the beginning of the story (game) of native customs (like dress)?

Do they have cool technology with them?

Are they scared of being found out by exploitative humans; or humans that would fear and/or harm them?

Paperwork for enrolling in school, fostering/adopting the child (toddler), purchasing, potentially owning and running the clinic. Perhaps they have good technology to create forgeries and/or the ability to be persuasive, or tamper with feelings/memories/behaviour.
