I kept all the cowplants fed according to their needs, including the one that had died. That's very interesting. Mine was in near proximity to the planter boxes full of things, from the Growfruit, the plantain tree and two other boxes full of spinach, potatoes, grapes, basil, mushrooms and one hybrid. I wanted the Cowplant closer, but I kept getting the red squares, so it more or less dictated where I could place it. :'( Oh, well, at least now I don't have the constant anxiety that one of my Sims will get eaten!
