Well, she will go to highschool, the children will be in school also, there is not much to plan. If she doesn't already, now it's time to give her her own room, with a sneak out window.
Actually, yeah I know how the teen years work but I'm wondering more about her future as any dad I think would. What do I want her to be when she grows up? Where does her train goes when it leaves my station? That sort of thing.
So I was wondering how others plan out their children's lives for them in the game.
Like what do you look for in the child's traits? How much do you take their upbringing into consideration? Do they follow a parent's footsteps? How do you do it?
What skills does she have? Is she creative? Does she like to garden, or at least talk to the plants? Is she eager to help cook? Observe what she does and she'll tell you by what holds her interests, much like a child in real life will. Help her find her strong skill, which hopefully aligns with her passion. If all else fails, randomize the traits and pick what feels correct. ;) Don't worry, worrying will give you lines on your forehead. There is no way to win this game, just as surely there is no way to lose. Relax, and have some fun with it. Do you want her to be a problem child?
