So that's how you do it? Thanks for the input. That's good advice.
Does anyone do it differently?
Like GalacticGal said, you need to look at her skills, her traits, likes, and see if there is something there that has potential to develop into something more, like a hobby could develop into a career. And very often I like to take cues from my sim's environment and other sims they meet and come up with a story for them. And I don't plan too far in advance for them, because like I said, I like to take cues from what happens with them during gameplay. I like to give my sims unique careers and hobbies, likes, etc. so when I change households they seem different enough from my other sims. Like I have two sims who live in San Myshuno, one lives in the fashion district , works in retail and will eventually own a clothes shop and become a style influencer. She's outdoorsy and likes to party. The other one lives in Spice District and works as a Home Decorator with photography as a hobby and a she's a Star Wars fan and a kleptomaniac. They both live a city life, with outings to cafes, nightclubs, festivals, they buy their vegetables and fish, etc. I also like to watch their wants, sometimes they want something unexpected that you didn't think of but that might make a good change of pace or direction for their storyline.
