What are her traits? A lot of times I go back that to help me determine aspects of their life. I also use a mod called talents and weaknesses. That’s a huge help!
As for mods, we console players are the Harry Potters in this Dursley household. We're not allowed to have cool things and we make our birthday cakes out of dirt. Lol (just joking) but yeah, mods are a no for console.
As for your advice, yeah I checked her traits but they really didn't help since they're so standard for all of my kids. But I'll let her do her own thing for awhile and see what happens. So far, all she does is wash the dishes. *sigh* What's the point of the butler? (Well besides ? ?)- Idk I feel like as I play multiple households I just end up coming up with connections between certain sims and stories
premades timelines kind of influence which sims they're gonna socialize with as teen since I don't make many new sims other than born in game babies really
I also get inspired by exploring certain gameplay I don't often explore or have not gotten to yet whenever I have new sim without goals
and I also have some storylines in mind that just don't have main character yet so I apply those where i feel it fits - NateWhiplash3 years agoSeasoned VeteranTeenagers are the youngest I have in my game. But before I even create them, the game plan is always the same; flunk out of school and then hang out at the local bars

Seriously??? Why? ?- Gamer_Cat243 years agoNew TravelerI am waiting to buy the high school pack.
For now, my teens go to school, do their homework, and max out on skills like cooking.
In my game, I let the uncontrolled Sims do what they want, if they seem to favor something like comedy, I let them pursue it. If they still like the hobbies, I keep that in mind moving forward.
Edit: I sometimes move teens out on their own if they have enough money, so they have to get a career. I have one teen living on her own, and picked a job in writing. "Umbreon12;c-18229886" wrote:

I played the highschool pack with just a teen in the household. So didn't have to worry about parents or anything. So don't know what it will be like with a full family. I guess I'll find out. ?- BissenNess3 years agoSeasoned AceWhen I age my teen up, I roll for a random trait and pick their first aspiration based on that trait, also taking into consideration their child trait and which of their child skills was the strongest. For example, if their strongest skill was mental, that put's aspirations in the Knowledge category on the table.
Over the course of their teens I start to think through their future career and usually have that worked out, with the skills started, by the time they age up to a young adult. "Eleri;c-18229904" wrote:

So you plan out their lives before YA? Well, the big parts anyway?- wildirishbanshee3 years agoSeasoned AceI use the randomizer from MTS to randomize who they are at birth. https://modthesims.info/download.php?t=606375 Sometimes I'll change things based on who they express themselves to be, but I usually follow it fairly well. Keeps things interesting to use traits and aspirations I don't normally.
It's a standalone program, so you can run it on a computer and take notes or whatever - it's not a mod. - SheriSim3 years agoSeasoned AceTime for best friends ( if she doesn’t already have them ) and boyfriends! Make sure you have some teen places so she can have some fun. If she is going to college this is the time to decide on a career and make plans for it and scholarships. Is she creative and likes painting or writing? Does she prefer politics or science? Does she want to be a teacher or lawyer? Does she want to follow the path if an occult? Does she want to concentrate on raising a family? It’s time to take a look at skills and aspirations and make some decisions on which to work on as well as have fun. Good luck!
