My First Winterfest! Pictures

Today, my Sims celebrated Winterfest. First, they gathered around as a family and decorated the tree.

Dad finally figured out where the house decorations were. It was late, and it was snowing, but the warm thoughts of Winterfest for his children kept him going.

Finally, after the singing, the gift giving, the Grand Meal and Good Cheer for All, the evening was topped off by a visit from Father Winter.

Father Winter made sure to chat with everybody and even graciously accepted a few gifts offered. Then Poof! he was gone.

What a BLAST. Well done, EA.

    At first I thought it wasn't working. And I could kick myself for not taking a better, closer picture, once the only daughter added the popcorn and cranberry garland to it. Once they were 'done' the tree showed the ornaments. I had to laugh as Erik, the blond teen boy was so casual on his style of decorating. Tossing the bulbs into the air and basically just having fun, before burying them inside the branches.

    As a footnote, the tree burned down. Happily, nobody was hurt, but it kind of put a crimp on the festivities. After the fire was out, and the two little ones played in the ashes of it for a bit, then they opened their gifts. I was so absorbed by what my Sims were doing I failed to hit pause and get the photo. :'( Oh, well.
