My mix-and-match or pick-a-path game

Question One: Number of Sims in household (between one and three)

To clarify; I haven’t decided if I want to play a mostly realistic game where occults are reduced/restricted/disregarded and Sims probably have to brush teeth and stuff religiously or a game where the occults are allowed free reign

You could do one where it is mostly realistic game play, but with the Occults being undercover. Like an alien being human around people, or a werewolf trying not to transform, or a vampire trying to to bite a person. Same kind of things with mermaids and spellcasters too. That way you can technically have realistic game play, but break it up a bit with the supernatural.

Yep, that’s what I meant with “having said that…”

Vampire= everyone else thinks his kind doesn’t really exist. Perhaps he didn’t know either until attacked one dark night…

Spellcaster =secret heritage he didn’t know about. Probably doesn’t know one of his parents (who was at least mildly magical)

Werewolf = I don’t actually own werewolves yet but am seriously considering buying. Will be Shadowhunters type thing where they have to keep their existence secret.

Question Five: Finance/Money Cheat Level

A None (Sim is poor)
B Medium (maybe one Motherlode)
C High (go crazy)

I think B, medium, because the Vampire doesn't know they are a Vampire yet, so not making them super rich at the beginning, but shouldn't be super poor.

I'd say a work from home career, like the ones from City Living. What I've learned about those is that you don't technically have to complete them by the time listed in the work hours, but instead by the start of the next day's hours. (For example, if they work from 9am until 5pm, the deadline to complete their work tasks would be 9am the next day.) If they're going to be a vampire, then they'll probably want to complete their work assignments at night, so I figure a work from home job would work out great for them. (I can picture it now. Vampire guy comes in for a job interview, wearing a sun hat and lots of sunscreen. He says, "I require...flexible hours." lol

Military, Covert Ops Branch. A Vampire who hangs around bars ordering Plasma Janes and planting bugs on people.

In the early days he’ll have to be very circumspect, for fear his beloved Goverment would experiment on him. Eventually he could be turned to researching/spying/keeping an eye on fellow supernaturals.

Haven’t had a military Sim much before or for ages either.

Plasma Janes, maybe. Could be a whole storyline there about supernaturals coming out into the open…

Windenburg. I hear they have great nightclubs. Also, the old town district might fit into the story of him getting turned. Perhaps by someone who's been in Windenburg a long time. A very long time.
