I, too, don't stray into the realm of the Occult, but I would only hope that when EA does place them, it will be via a GP, so I can bypass what I, personally, don't wish for.
As for the pointy ears that was cc you must have placed into your Mods folder. Take a look through that and I'll bet you find it. There are two that I have come across in my quest to have Spock of Vulcan in my game. CmarNYC and Khitsule. I prefer Khitsule's in this iteration. She has ones that are hereditary, so that Toddlers have them. I used ones by CmarNYC back in Sims3 before we got the Aliens. I was unhappy to see we don't have the use of the alien pointy ears in CAS, in Sims4. Back in Sims2, we just had to select the head that had the pointy ears and go from there. I had hoped this would be the case in Sims 3, but thankfully modders are there to create such custom content.
