I'm sorry for your loss. *hugs*
At least she was happy.
I guess the phrase "Let Your Smile Be Your Umbrella" was of no use here or too much of it depending on how you look at it....but at least she laughed to the very end...sorry for your loss...- I have never let any of my sims die from emotions because it is unnecessary and S.T.U.P.I.D. to me. So I use a mod that negates this ridiculousness that EA must have thought was amusing.

No - not at all - she had no queue. I was focusing on other Sims in the household - I got a pop-up this Sim was dying of laughter - found her doubled over laughing (she had never done that before) and then the reaper appeared. Usually pleading with the reaper works - but this time it did not. She was an adult - not an elder.
The same thing almost happened in my game to Moira Frye. She was enjoying a lovely dinner with her family at Chez Llama, everyone was having a good laugh and I was not paying attention to her, since her daughter, Siobhan had just gone into labour. I was deciding who should accompany Siobhan to the hospital then noticed Moira's strange face and Grim Reaper descending on the lot. Now I was mortified! I quickly sent Siobhan to the hospital with Her husband, Sergio. They were actually stuck there for a bit as she wouldn't deliver and flipped off her hospital gown back into normal wear. After several hours and hospital staff shift change she delivered twins and when they finally arrived back home Moira was none the worse for wear and was doting over her new grand babies. Whew, I was so relieved! - AquaGamer121210 years agoSeasoned AceMy first death in the game was of embarrassment, and I was so unimpressed haha. She had gotten turned down for marriage. But the worst part was that I left and came back and this happened haha.
- I had an epic whirlwind romance between Candy Behr and a sim I was playing. He had boosting moodlets from making a new friend, making a new best friend, starting a new relationship, first kiss, first woohoo, getting engaged and getting married all at the same time.
Then his goofball trait kicked in just as he also picked up the on a roll moodlet from telling jokes on the microphone.
And Candy got a whim to tell him a joke.
It was their wedding day.
Grim showed up flirty.
My favorite tragic sims romance so far. - I once had a sim pee their pants while proposing and get turned down... He died of mortification. RIP.
- Hermitgirl10 years agoSeasoned AceMy first mortified death was Don Lothorio before they tweaked it to be less easy I guess. I wasn't playing that household so he was an NPC at the time. It was funny but also baffling to me. Since then I keep trying to kill him like that and I can't seem to manage it, whenever I send my sims to that household. I still haven't had a death from hysteria without setting it up and trying pretty hard to get it.

I killed a sim that way once. I made her furious, mortified, and hysterical all at once hoping one of them would do the job. Hysterical was the easiest one.
You must tell me how you did that. My Sim who went from very sad to hysterical suddenly was happy? While I preferred not losing him at that moment, I am playing Pinstar's Legacy Challenge. More of my ghosts died of old age than the other kinds. :'(
Well to get them hysterical I used a cheat but once that was achieved the rest was easy. I just had them tell jokes constantly until they died. Sorry it took so long by the way, I've been busy with work."dreita95;14933365" wrote:

Same here lol. I have been trying to kill my sims with emotions for the longest time. I make them hysterical but they never die, I don't know how to make them furious or mortified. I am not giving up yet.
See post above about the hysterical but the easiest for mortified is not something you can really control. I accidentally killed J Huntington III once because my sim rejected his marriage proposal which left him mortified. My sim then walked into the bathroom on him and that was all it took for him to die.- My Sim died of laughter on his wedding day and he laughed at his Sister playing the violin and she was not very good at playing so the hubby to be laughed so hard that he just died and the guests at the wedding soon to be, just stopped dancing and the whole event went from being happy to sad, and his wife-to-be, just went and cried under the covers in her bed and eventually had to ask everyone to leave, that was depressing to watch, it took 4 Sim days to get over the sadness in that family, so I stopped playing that family.
