If you are restarting the game, create a twin and use that twin as your new starting sim. In case it's not an exact copy, go into the game with both sims in live mode, then use MCCC's CAS feature to copy and paste the face from the old onto the new sim, then delete the old one. While you're there, save the new clone in your library instead of the original.
