My Sim thinks she's in her first trimester of pregnancy when she's not pregnant at all...

My Sim got pregnant through a pregnancy mod by accident when try for baby glitched and wouldn't even give a pregnancy test option. Her partner was only supposed to get pregnant, instead they both did....

In order to have a male Sim get preggars, via MCCC, you have to set it to do so, yourself. It isn't a default setting — at least it hasn't been when I've downloaded the updates.
