I send my sim to shower. He gets in, then immediately gets out again. I've tried moving the shower, selling it and buying another and letting him go in of his own accord, still the same. He's the only sim on the house so I don't think it is a privacy issue, although I did first notice it when a guest was visiting. She has left now and he still won't wash.He pongs!Anyone had similar or know whats going on?

Didn't think of that. I moved him out of his house in the end and into a different one. That seemed to work.I noticed that the small icon at the bottom of his Actions list (usually says if he's walking or sitting or whatever) it was stuck on Stop Sitting (Sitting with a cross through it) don't know if that had anything to do with it!

Wait!!! It worked! I don't know what happened, but after trying two times and him stepping out of the shower as before... the third time (without me doing anything), he took a whole shower O.O No idea how it happened!!!Thanks for all the help, something might have worked!

I had this problem recently as well. I ended up selling the glitched shower and replacing it with a new one (that was the exact same shower) and it fixed the problem right away.

I found a solution! type: Ctrl alt C then type testingcheats true then shift click the shower and click reset object! Hope this helps.

Try selling the bath or shower and buy another one and see if that helps.

Remove any mods/cc and see if that helps.

Repairing the game may help. To do that, right click on the sims 4 picture in Origin and click repair.

Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then add back the "options.ini" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders.

Okay, just went back to the game.

Now he won't do practically anything! He will wash his hands and brush his teeth so I managed a workaround for the smelliness. He needed sleep but would only nap on the bed (sleep he got in and immediately got out). His bars are now all green but he now won't program on the computer or play computer games, just sits down and stands up again!

I'm reviving this thread because the same thing is happening to my WHOLE family. They are 5 people and won't shower. They get in and immediately get out. I sold the old shower, bought a new one... nothing works. I don't have enough money to move them out to a new house yet :/

I don't know how to fix this. Their action list is empty, so it isn't stuck on anything :/

Great! Looks like they worked on some of the bugs! I will have to add the patch after I take my sister to the doctor. Didn't know there was going to be a patch today!

I'm going to exit and try it now. It is downloading the new patch! Hopefully it will be fixed.
How funny that it hadn't happened before and I always download all the patches and as soon as there is a problem, a new patch is out :DDDDDD
