My toddler is sick!

Drinking orange juice, tea and taking a nap are considered home remedies for sick sims and it should help but they wont get better instantly

I second the chicken soup lol.

Kids can take medicine, but from the looks of things, tots can't. Source: Have had several ill kids before and took panacea no problem.

If you are getting that for the former, maybe check your mods in case it's a bug.

I figured it out, folks! It's the apple juice you give toddlers. She just got a moodlet with dinner that looks like a big green hospital cross. If you hover over it, it says:

Combating a Cold
(From Home Remedy Hydration)
Sometimes simple home remedies are the best medicine.

Toddlers AND children. When I've had sick school age children they were unable to take the meds so I just gave them juice and had them nap - I like the sound of Grandmas Chicken Soup though.

The return of the Chicken soup would be great! Does anyone know if you can give the toddlers tea?

If so, I know that you get a special detox tea option when your sim has a high enough wellness skill. Drinking that tea normally kicks whatever bug a sim has without needing to buy the actual medicine, so I speculate that would be an option for toddlers so long as you can specifically give them that tea.
