My vampire sim doesn't know he cant go outside in the sunlight

My first vampire sim continues to go out in the sun to do activities. What is wrong with him? He isnt even that low level anymore, he is on the level 2 book. I swear he is going to kill himself one day. He lives with his girlfriend in the basement of his childhood home, so I cant remove the outdoor activities, cause they are used by the humans. I am the one with the tense moodlet smh

  • This issue (is this a bug?) really needs to be addressed, imo. :frowning:

ETA: For the NPC / townie vamps especially.

Also, I shouldn't be required to have sun immunity for all player household vamps. We should be able to create a variety of vamps we want, and not all vamps are going to be sun-immune. I would want smarter AI in this kind of situation.
  • Im sorry, but i see this as a bug. I finally got my husband to play with me because of the vampires. we shared control of the household at the same time just for gigs. He gets him to like 10 points from being a master vampire, felt super accomplished after a few hours of simming etc. well, i was controlling them for a few minutes and decided to take one of the sims to the flea market thingy (lived in the apartments) i wasnt watching his vamp sim and the dummy walked over to a group of like 3 civilian vampires he had turned (which were all trying to work during the day and catching on fire once i noticed this happen) plus some humans and struck up a conversation. I was unaware until the screen bounced over to him on fire and turning into ash. my husband was furious and i was in shock. Why in the world would it make any sense to ANYONE to not have a natural instinct added to vampires to stay OUT OF THE SUN?????
