I Wanna PlayHaving new stuff naturally makes you want to play.
These new interiors are so much more immersive to me. I've stopped by other sim's home and immediately want to get back to Melonie and Ling and Sheldon and Jewel. If the next EP turns out to be really good, I just might pick up Dining Out too, as it would go well with the City themed EP. The stuff packs seem best for child and family play. They would best go with Generations, if Generations ever happens.
I am going to need to remember to check this location whenever I can't find where they hid the tablet.
Sun shines right on the TV screen, but they don't mind, so I don't mind.
They probably won't watch much TV at this time of day anyway.
Alexus is testing custom chairs, but she's not overjoyed.
She has to pee.
I love the detail of these sculptures.
I've switched to Vaughn now.
I moved him out of the house he was sharing with 2 other sims and he is in a starter house, trying to save up enough money to move into a house like Sheldon's and Jewel's.
He usually hits the community lots after work for fun, food, and socializing.
I am now starting to have him visit his friends at their homes, so he can do the same thing. It's good to shift now and then.
He was chatting up Gamma when she started to glow.
It's a bit disappointing that there isn't a lot of depth when a sim discovers another sim is an alien.
He showed no reaction at all and only had a few alien related topics of conversation.
She did mind zap him, but he still had the xenophobia moodlet and he still knew that she was an alien.
Perhaps she mind zapped him for something else than erasing his memory.
Vaughn was at The Bluffs, where I put the wishing well.
He made a wish, but lost over 2000 simoleons. He wasn't happy about that and became all tense. Disgusted with himself for losing that much needed money would be more like it.
Anyway, he got a new set of whims.
He wanted to do a back flip into the pond. He also wanted to start a gathering of The Monty Llama comedy clubthat he belongs to.
They came running just over the rise and jumped into the water.
Candy Behr alone can make you smile, but seeing them all here made me smile.
I don't know why Melonie insists on reading a book instead. She's not a bookworm.
Mel' being Mel'.
I'm still amazed with the interior makeovers.
I will plan any future homes with consideration to how sunlight fills the space.
This home does not let in much light without the skylight. The tree in front and off to the side creates shadows through the sky light.
The moving branch's shadows help make the house feel more alive.
Vaughn is currently living in a starter home.
He is only visiting Sheldon and Jewel--and mooching off them since I am saving all his money and not buying much appliances, or furniture.
He is going to purchase a house similar to this, but I will experiment with other content, so it should look different from this one.
He's also going to work for it. No cheats.
Someday, Vaughn. Someday.
From now on, I will play sims living alone in starter homes differently.
They will pay as little money as possible on their starter homes. They will instead mooch off friends and use their stuff. It's really boring playing a sim alone in house without much stuff. A starter home should be unappealing any way, and the sim should be focused getting out of it as soon as possible and spend little time there while living in it.
I will make sure their friend's homes have plenty of food for visitors and fun things to do.
It will be an alternative to going to community lots all the time.
Are you kidding me?
I've dropped money into this thing until Vaughn was broke (I didn't save of course) and now that he just happens by the park to scavenge for collectables, we find a happy wishing well.
My new approach to the well: visit often to see if it's happy and only drop one offering if it isn't.
There you go.
He worked for that coin he tossed in there. It's not cheating. ;)
Now we can buy this. :#
He only has 972 simoleons now, so he will still have to mooch off his friends until he is financially stable.
It shouldn't take long for the future Dr. Vaughn Noble.
