Sims 4:Not being able to turn off free will completely
Got a mod for that one :) New dislike would be Musical Chairs. - Sims 3- Cas being extremely laggy
Sims 4- no color wheel - In the sims 3 I didn't like the create a sim options.
In the sims 4 I dont like how you can literally get married in the span of 2 days. I feel like it should take longer to form a relationship. - TS3: I hate that it can actually kill your graphics card without putting a 50 fps limiter/v sync on (like wtf?)
TS4: I hate that the game doesn't have any type of memory system, feels like nothing that happens in-game is important to my sims because they forget within days. (example: sims parent dies and after 3 days they don't feel sad anymore let alone remember it?) - Sims 3 - Load times and lag. Being nickel-and-dimed by The Sims 3 Store.
Sims 4 - Poor integration of features from different packs (Festivals being ruined by bad weather, for example.) No story progression.
Both Games - Bugs being left unfixed. - akl12267 years agoSeasoned AceSims 3-just the severe routing issues and lag. It was ridiculous you had to download mods to fix the game and make it run properly.
Sims 4: emotions. I wish we had more of them and I wish they made more sense. Sims are happy 90 percent of the time and it just doesn’t make a ton of sense. - The Sims 3: Setting the sim up/how they look
The Sims 4: No unusual disasters, when I first started my sims died over drowning, fires etc.. Now.... The opportunity's on saving lives are not there (due to I know how to save them and how to stop it from happening) - sims 3: the overall buggyness of the game, completly unplayable without mods
sims 4: The lack of story progression, sims in town need to get kids and get married. (thanks mods again) - Really the only things I disliked in Sims 3 was the toddlers and children were easy to make cute most of thetime no matter how lovely their parents were, 2 - the babies were always swaddled tightly in a blanket like a burrito, and 3rd - there was lack of routing in the water for water taxis so a lousey water reed could make a taxi get stuck for hours in a circle - until you pulled the reed out. Water needed to be routeable too. I could fix broken land routing but not water routing without destroying all the water greenery.
I loved everything else about Sims 3 as I could fix the character not to have pudding faces (teens and adults anyway, and fix all broken land routing - I could do almost anything I wanted to do in Sims 3 to make it perfect but the above things - to be honest. It took a lot of work but it could run perfect - and did in most worlds but a few of the Maxis game world - that had horribly broken routing. The thing I loved most about Sims 3 was the amazing open world. - Sims 3: Cas. It was fine features wise, but it used to be very slow for me.
Sims 4: The lack of personality.
