So my sims can fish in the water, but whenever I ask them to wade, collect water, or look for frogs they complain about not being able to reach it. I've tried having different heights to make it easi...

Do you have a lot of decorations on the pond (ducks, bugs, plants)? I haven’t tried to collect water, but my toddler and child can wade & play in the water fine. I did notice issues when I used a bunch of decor with the MOO cheat though, however that prevented them from fishing as well.
