Neighborhood Stories enjoyable but needs some tweaking and will there be new additions to it?

With the neighborhood stories implemented, I gotta say that I really enjoy this feature. :)

Especially when you can tailor it to your liking or just turn it off completely. Noticed sims can inform other sims they know if they adopted or had a child and invite sims over or vice versa when they call you about the new addition to your family. Or sims moving in in your neighborhood and telling you they recently did. Really helps with being immersive and that the neighborhood and world is progressing.

Though things like the having a baby or adopting I notice most households fill up too quickly and much as I love accidental deaths seems like it's a lot too (usually leave them on for rando townies). Not sure if some of these can also be based on traits?

Like I expect family-oriented sims to want to be expanding their family a lot and clumsy sims probably prone to accidental deaths often. Can still happens with other sims, but figure traits can play a hand in it all.

Hoping there might be things like engagements, marriages and even break ups in the future as well for neighborhood stories. Can see break up and splits happening with sims with lower relationships to non-commital sims breaking away in a relationship.

Also, perhaps making use of the option in the pie menu if you interact with a sim in your neighborhood in talking about 'neighborhood changes' and the like to be able to talk about neighborhood stories directly. Would make use of the option rather than having it be the usual cookie cutter option that has no use. Same with gossiping would like this to be a bit more useful. There's actually a simple mod for it someone made and thought this would be good as a base game feature as I do miss when sims gossiped about one anothe ror what happened to another sim be it kitchen fire or otherwise.

Haha, yes this is a problem that, while annoying, is kinda funny, at least in my save. Most of the households in my save have adopted a ludicrous amount of dogs and cats, turning the world into a furry apocalypse. It gets even worse if MCCC is used to increase the household size.
