I'm with you Sharonia. Every one of my couple households I had six babies and they are not all family-oriented. I am sure I mentioned I played with the traits. Also, my sims had the option to both move out and move in when they decided to move out and just stay homeless. How long should a wait for them to move into a new place? It doesn't matter any way. The figure just isn't for me. It is too much work and does not add to my enjoyment of the game. I have customized almost every sim in my game and animal lover traits are ones I use very infrequently. But if I take away a household's ability to have kids or adopt kids then I get sims that households that are filled with pets, which is not an issue in less I decide to play with that household in which case I delete then. It is crazy becasue I want my couples to have children, but not back to back into they have six infants and I want my sims to adopt pets just maybe not six. I mentioned I customized almost every townie because I want certain types of sims in my town for my played households to interact with, but I do not want to monitor every household in the game. If the unplayed household have six babies and they grow-up then I have to get to editing and deleting. I want a variety of sims in my games. The ratio my kids to adults is important and I don't want my sims looking like clowns. Also, the pets are just for looks becaue I do not play with them. I am just a certain type of simmer. If neighborhood stories did real stuff that made sense then maybe I would just sit back and watch. But no. Instead it makes an unemployed adult male living with a single mom adopt a child. He had the options of getting a job, moving out or even adopting a pet. But no, he adopted a whole child. Or have half my sims move out of their homes and be homeless, but not move in anywhere else. I just had empty houses all over my game. They had the same option to move in that they had to move out so whatever. And I don't need to be told to turn the setting off because "duh" it has been done at this point, but why create the situation in the first place. Also, if we could delete infants that would be great. Why can't we delete them manage households? I had to move the infants to an unplayed household and once it was full delete it. What it he point of having to age them to toddlers before you delete them? My apologies for this very lenghtly rant. Goodnight/morning.
