I understand what you're saying, but I do think it makes sense. A 'Nerd Brain' being a "geek" that is better than anyone at understanding appliances and electronics isn't that far fetched if you look at the aspiration milestones. What makes less sense to me is the reward trait for the Freelance Botanist aspiration is that your Sim becomes fearless around fire. But that's a topic for another thread, I suppose.
