Never had ceremony awards? Ever?

There is another thread pretty much talking about the same thing. I've got a Global Superstar, but he's a singer, thanks to Sacrificial's Road to Fame_Professional Singing Career mod. He gets gold stars at his concerts, but no mention of any awards. However, when I first began with him, before I knew about RTF mod, I turned him into an actor. He did go to an awards night. People filed inward, but he wasn't nominated for anything. But then again, he'd only had one audition, too. It pretty much sounds like a bug.

Can you show me where the other thread at? Seems like nobody has the same bug! I heard simmer not being able to accept the award but that's different, I can't even see the ceremony..!
I wanted to get that mod btw but I don't want it to mess up get famous (I'm always super cautious when it comes to script mods, because in the long term, they ruin my save files especially with new big game updates)

the awards show only happens on lounges with the 'hottest spot in town' lot trait, so if that trait was removed, there'll never be an award show. if nothing else, may want to make another lounge elsewhere with the trait just to see if that somehow kicks it into occurring . if it does, you know something's going on with the current lounge it's supposed to happen in

I wish they would tell us which lot the ceremony will be at in the notification. :neutral:

I am having the same exact issue. I was nominated for two awards but the awards ceremony doesn't even show as an event on my calendar. After reading forums, I tried to go to the PBP lounge at the specified time but there was no one there. I really don't know what to do. Does the award ceremony at least show up as an event on your calendar? Were you able to figure anything out?

@danaiidare Yes, it is supposed to show up on the calendar as an event. It requires a lounge with the Hottest Spot in Town trait, so make sure that the PbP lounge does have that trait.

My celebrity sim is a singer/songwriter, and has won the award for "best song", never done the acting career in my game yet, so it even works when you don't have actors as active sims.
