New 2023 Roadmap Released! It's All Relative.

I agree, I assume the infant update will be the same day as the community stream, the two kits will follow with releases in February and early March, and the EP will be released in late March. I could be completely off, but either way we still get all of these things before the end of March which is exciting!

I have a couple of things to say about this roadmap.

Firstly:

I'm overwhelmed. That's a lot of happy nappies, wide eyed underwear and crowned grizzly teeth being thrown in our faces. I'm not saying I'm not happy for everyone, but it's overwhelming. Glad every item looks so clean and above all, happy.

Secondly:

I like this image. It looks like a small, waving human being marched around by its dear mother. On her back!!

It ain't so bad if this is to be part of the infant update or the new family slash generation EP as it will open up some new and interesting gameplay opportunities.
Couple of things I'm hoping for:

• Various Infant Carrier (or whatever they're called) designs: Will there be wicker baskets? Vintage leather bags? Those wrap-around things?
  
• Can werebeasts and vampires carry it whilst super speed runnin' around in their ultimate beast forms?
  
• Will sims be able to mountain climb with that thing on their backs?
  
• -Go Hiking?
  
• -Explore temples?
  
• - Wade across streams?
  
• -Go boating?
  
• -Visit Batuu??
  

At first I didn't find the idea of infants to be very appealing (I don't really do babies) until I began to realize how much I've always enjoyed the auld Lonewolf & Cub trope (Think Lonewolf & Cub, The Mandalorian ...etc. ).
IF this update / EP includes adventurous infant stuff -I'd need a positive answer to all or most of the aforementioned queries- I'm in. I could make this work. In fact, I'd love it. I won't be holding me breath, but hey-ho, I always likes nice surprises!

Well the roadmap showed "Community Stream" so I'm wondering if game changers/content creators made some of the houses again, or if they were involved somehow with the EP and they'll be featured on the stream.

Wouldn't it normally save "Live Stream" and not Community Stream?

Hm, a Generations EP and an infant update. For me... eh. Personally, I rarely do family-oriented gameplay, but it just so happens that I'm playing a family now for story reasons, so the timing is excellent for me. Here's hoping, mostly for folks who like that kind of gameplay, that it's actually good, though I'm more interested in the infant update myself, mostly because the infants are definitely lacking in many ways. But is anyone else getting just a little tired of these realism-focused EPs? Take a risk for the next EP, I say, do something different. Especially since EPs are (quite often) hit-or-miss, they might as well try something new.

I really, really hope that the addition of infants doesn’t mess things up like what happened with the HSY update. It probably won’t be a hugely long stage, but still. I’m probably going to go into my main story save before the patch tomorrow and switch aging off, or at least make a note of how long everyone has in their current life stage so that I can make adjustments if needs be.
