Hi! I'm not sure if I'm supposed to ask this here or in technical, its not really a technical issue. I have done some research on a new computer that would be good for the sims 4 and to handle all the CC and Mods I have. I have 4 desktop options and just wondering if someone could help me decide on what one would be best, or if you have a different option? Thanks!
Out of all 4, the second option (Scale Gaming Power PC with Ryzen 7 8700F) is the best option. It boasts a great CPU, has a RTX 4060 Ti (which should be absolutely enough for Sims 4 on Ultra + CC) and has 32GB of RAM, which is very helpful when running Sims 4 with everything on it.
The other options have similar configurations and will likely have the same performance, since they have the same CPU, GPU and RAM.

VAU23 If you're still shopping, the first one is more than sufficient for Sims 4 and is as good as the second and fourth. The third one is the only one with a 4060 ti, but it's also much more expensive and entirely unnecessary for the game. Additionally, Skytech makes well-built PCs in general, typically a little better than Cyberpower or iBuyPower.
Ok, I have a skytech now that I bought in 2018 and it was great but I had to replace the motherboard in 2020 and the guy that was fixing it also found that the power supply actually had to be replaced too. The hard drive was next in the next year or two I think. I think I just got unlucky lol. I'm not against getting another one, skytech support was great suggesting what motherboard I should get and they were surprised that the motherboard quit. Said it sounds like something may have surged it maybe overloaded it because it was plugged into a surge protector and on wood floors. I do have all expansions but one and all stuff packs. My Mods folder is 26.7 GB, mostly CC so I'd like one that can load fairly fast, as would anyone I would think. The price doesn't bother me so much as long as the computer is very good and would last.
VAU23 A power supply issue can damage any and all components on a computer, so that may have been the only real problem. It's impossible to diagnose at this point though.
If you do want a computer with a 4060 ti, I can probably find something cheaper, although apparently not from Best Buy at the moment. (I checked.) Even though you don't mind the price, it doesn't make sense to pay extra without getting an upgrade. Let me know if you'd like other suggestions. Or just go with one you've already picked out. Or if you do want the 4060 ti, consider this one with a faster processor:
Yes it "only" has 16 GB RAM, but that's the easiest component to upgrade, and doing so should be cheap by the time you need to, if you ever need to.
No, it definitely would be nice to not pay so much if its not necessary. If you think the skytech one would be a great option for my needs than I will go with that one, unless you have another better option. I'm not totally set on what I've provided, just did research that those were good options for gaming computers.

The second one has a slightly better processor than the first, one that's about the same as the one in the first two links above and slightly slower than the one in the Skytech model. The differences are small though and unlikely to have any impact at all on Sims 4.
If you're still interested in a 4060 ti, which, again, is massive overkill for Sims 4, these two are cheaper than anything I see right now on Best Buy:

The first one has some one-star reviews because the unit came with air cooling instead of an all-in-one liquid cooler, but you don't need liquid cooling for this particular configuration.
By the way, ABS is Newegg's in-house system integrator: the company makes prebuilt computers with the leftover components it doesn't sell separately. So you're getting the same class of hardware you would if you built the computer yourself, or as the options from Cyberpower/iBuyPower/Skytech.
