New EA/Origin Desktop App.

I just saw this notification when I was closing Origin down after playing today.
Is this necessary? Is there any feedback from it?
I'm not sure I want it.

I’ve tried to use the new EA Desktop Beta app, but when I open it up it asks me to download the Sims 4 (which isn’t successful when I try). Additionally, it says I only have 2 DLC packs which is also not accurate. I’ll be staying with Origin for now - so I can actually play the game!

It asked me to download games too. The client is more optimized but has been able to run any of the games I own yet. So it is still a bit buggy which makes sense it has issues in beta mode.

Yeah, it asked me to download the sims 4 and all my packs which was going to take hours and eat up memory. I was afraid it would erase my files so I uninstalled it. I like the interface and aesthetics better so I’m sad it has this glitch. :/
